:iconcoughffinknail: as Altair from Assassin's Creed.

Gee, I really like this photo. A lot. I will say that, for me, a major aspect of photography is luck. I think that is one of the reasons I love it so much, I like taking little risks where I won't actually know the outcome until it's over and done with(I love roulette :D).

Sometimes things line up in a photo that you weren't aware of because you were focusing on something else. I was mainly focusing on getting the shot straight and trying not to cut off too much of Shay's foot(had to put my body in an awkward angle because there were... things on the ground I didn't wanna touch), and I ended up getting his knives lined up against his face really well AND got his hood hiding his eyes in a perfect way. I'm going to call myself out a little and admit that at that moment these were things I wasn't making myself aware of.

Minimal editing was done here, I may have gone in for a tighter crop, I don't really remember. I think it came out really well. The obvious threat of the knives is the first thing that you notice, but the main part of the image that is in focus is the gauntlet with the retractable dagger(knife? don't kill me, fanboys), precariously placed on a knee ready to finger the trigger and get your ass when you let your guard down. My eye is drawn there, and like any proper assassin you don't know where he'll strike from until he actually does it^^

I think that one of the awesome things about being a true artist is how we subconsciously see part and whole. We may not realize that we're including the small details like the knives in front of the face... or the shadow over the eyes... because it's so second nature. You call it a happy accident, I call it skill.

I like the costume because it looks real. It's not bright and new looking like most cosplays are, it looks warn and kindof dingy that gives it it's realistic effect

The pose, angle, knives, hood, and missing ring finger--I'd give this a high score, oh, 9.5 out of 10.

Just so you know, I decided, if you do not mind, to reference this for KOTOR3 ideas--my assassin character likes to show off, and this is a cool idea.
